Medical Receptionist – check-in, check-out, answer phones. Prep-charts for upcoming appointments, update patient demographic information, insurance verification. Must be computer literate and able to multitask. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Knowledge of Medisoft is a plus.
Medical Biller – entering patient data into computer system, auditing and entering charges, following up on EOBs, patient statements, collections, and posting payments. Must have strong sense for accuracy and efficiency. Must have solid knowledge of coding methodologies, local insurance carriers, appeals processes, and electronic billing. Knowledge of Medisoft is a plus.
Surgery Scheduler – interact with patients, surgeon, hospitals, surgery centers, insurance companies and primary care physicians to coordinate and arrange for patient surgeries. Must have some clinical background, good rapport, and be efficient with time and paperwork.
Medical Assistant – assist physician in coordinating care of patients in the office. Responsibilities include rooming patients, cleaning instruments, assisting with procedures, maintaining exam rooms and supplies, and following up with patients as directed by physician. Also coordinate and schedule tests for patients – coordinate with insurance companies and test centers to arrange tests. Must have some clinical background and strong interest in patient care.
